Moglin

Moglin (moglo) are an intelligent race of adorable little critters creatures that inhibit the world of Lore.

Appearance

They are small, 1' tall , come in an array of different colors, have two large distinguished ears, stubby arms and legs, and sport a long, softly curved tail.

Behavior

Moglins can live nearly anywhere on Lore, but primarily in the villages of Rugglum and Frostvale.

They are often shy, home-caring, and friendly toward other friendly creatures. Generally, Moglins are carefree and friendly, offering a helping paw to any hero who needs assistance. Some Moglins, however, can be grouchy, have a horrible temper, or are just pure evil.

They are a peaceful race, and most of them practice nature magic and healing. They are all experts in magic, especially healing and rejuvenation and they are never reluctant to use it on needing creatures, whether good or evil (though they very rarely use it on evil.) Their innate healing ability is constantly healing them so they rarely if ever get sick and don't feel pain.

However, as comfirmed by Dewlok, a Moglin's actual power is over life and death, and they show talent for both healing AND necromancy, such as the case with Zorbak and Kabroz.

Moglins also have very long lifespans, Dewlok again, having lived for many years, witnessing five comings of The'Galin.

They have a remarkable ability to swim with their ears, because their other appendages are too short.

They like to eat about any amount of anything (except each other) and highly value fish, ice cream, or fish ice-cream. Sometimes, they follow adventurers around to heal them, give them advice, or just be protected; such is the case with Twilly

Species

Moglins have different species of biological standpoints. Zorbak belongs to the moglo superior genus and Twilly belongs to the moglo football-headius family. But this is probably a joke, because Zorbak always calls Twilly "football headed", but that Moglin are (moglo) species, might be true.
