Pactagonal Knight

Pactagonal Knights, or the Knights of the Pactagonal Table, are knights of Swordhaven serving under King Alteon. Introduced in DragonFable, they have since also appeared in AdventureQuest Worlds.

In DragonFable King Alteon gives his number of knights as 500,000, and his number of Elite Knights when facing Xan as 299, with the 300th having betrayed him and disappeared. The hero later becomes the 301st.

In OverSoul they are referred to as the Pactonal Knights, possibly due to space limitations on cards.

Concept[]

The Pactagonal Table is named for the mythical Round Table of the knights of King Arthur, and for the shape of the video game character Pac-Man, which is called in DragonFable the pactagon.

Most Pactagonal Knights have a name that forms a pun when combined with their title Sir; for example Sir Casm sounds like sarcasm; Sir Comvent sounds like circumvent, etc.

Sir Baumbard is not officially a Pactogonal Knight because his "family name didn't work with 'sir' in front of it." He attained his knighthood from the King of Swordhaven.

Many of the knights were killed or injured during AQ Worlds' Undead Invasion. A * indicates a knight who was killed and became undead; an ! indicates a knight who was injured.
